[1] Heard learned advocates for the respective parties through video conferencing.
[2] Rule. Learned APP waives service of notice of rule for and on behalf of respondent – State.
[3] By way of this application, the applicant has prayed to release him on parole leave for medical treatment of his wife.
[4] Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the applicant submits that the applicant has already filed an application for seeking parole leave before the competent authority i.e. I.G. Prison, Ahmedabad, which is pending for consideration.
[5] Having heard learned advocates for the respective parties and having gone through the materials available on record, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the competent authority i.e. I.G. Prison, Ahmedabad to decide his application looking to the medical exigency of

his wife within a period of 15 days in accordance with law.
[6] With the above direction, the present application stands disposed of. Rule made absolute to the aforesaid extent.
