After issuance of notice, affidavit-in-reply was filed by private respondent wherein it was stated that even the petitioner has made illegal construction of the house and also encroached upon the common plot. The above fact is verified.

Meanwhile, Civil Application is filed by applicants with a prayer to direct the original writ petitioner (PIL) No. 218 of 2015 to join opponents No. 9 to 297 as party respondents as Public Interest Litigation.

Considering the pleadings and replies filed in this WPPIL including the original map of Housing Board of the area concerned, occupied by the petitioner as well as the other occupiers, we deem it just and proper and expect Gujarat Housing Board and Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation both to work out a formula/action plan to redress the grievances of all occupants so that no further illegal encroachment is made over either on common plot or illegal construction is carried out.

With the aforesaid, this petition is disposed of.

In view of the order passed in WPPIL, Civil Application also stands disposed of.
