Heard Shri DA Kaiyum, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Shri N Das, learned State Counsel, Assam as well as Shri NK Kalita, learned counsel for the respondent no. 6.

The cause of action is with regard to holding of the election after passing of the No-Confidence Motion.

The learned counsel for the parties have jointly informed that the election has been held on 08.08.2025 in which, Smti. Premoda Tamuli has been elected as the Chairman.

In view of the aforesaid development, there is no existing cause of action in this writ petition which is accordingly closed.
