Heard Mr. L. N. Dihingia, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner and Mr. D. Saikia, the learned Senior counsel assisted by Mr. N. Anix Singh, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondents.

The present application has been filed alleging willful and deliberate violation to the order dated 04.10.2023 passed in WP(C) No.5870/2023.

It has been submitted by Mr. D. Saikia, the learned Senior counsel that the said order which was passed on 04.10.2023 was further clarified vide an order dated 10.11.2023 passed in I.A.(Civil) No.3253/2023 and in pursuance thereto, the work order which was issued on 04.10.2023 was not given effect to. Further to that, it is also submitted that vide a judgment and order dated 20.06.2024 passed WP(C) No.5870/2023, the writ petition had already been allowed and therefore nothing further survives.

Considering the above, this Court finds no good reason for continuing with the instant contempt proceedings for which the instant contempt proceedings stands dropped.
