Heard Mr. A. Zhimomi, learned counsel for the applicant, who submits that there is a delay of 31 days in filing the appeal against the impugned judgement and order dated 09/09/2025 passed by the learned Single Judge in WP(C) 261/2022. He submits that the delay has been caused

Page No.# 5/5 due to late information being given to the applicant, with regard to the disposal of the writ petition and the fact that time was taken for obtaining a certified true copy of the impugned judgement and order. He further submits that time had been consumed in meeting with the new Advocate in Dimapur, which resulted in an unintentional delay in filing the appeal.

Mr.N. Angami, learned Sr. Government Advocate, Nagland, submits that he has got no objection to the delay being condoned.

On considering the submission made by the learned Senior Government Advocate, Nagaland and considering the grounds for the delay, we find that sufficient cause for the delay has been made out. Accordingly, the delay of 31 days in filing the appeal is condoned.

IA stands disposed of.
