Mr. R. Deka, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the subject-matter of the writ petition was a claim for ex-gratia amount in terms of a Notification dated 15.11.2022 and as the petitioners have got the reliefs in the meantime, the petitioners do not want to press the writ petition.
Ms. G. Hazarika, learned Standing Counsel, Revenue & Disaster Management Department for the respondent no. 1 and Ms. S. Baruah, learned Junior Government Advocate, Assam for the respondent nos. 3, 4 & 5 are present.
