Ms. D. Ghosh, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that in spite of her best efforts; she has not received any response from the family of the petitioner who had expired during the pendency of the present proceeding for substituting a legal heir in the present proceeding.
In view of the above position and the petitioner no longer being alive, there is none to press this proceeding and accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
