Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
This Court under its orders dated 06.12.2023 and 15.12.2023 requested Mr. S. Bora, learned Standing Counsel for the BTC to obtain instruction whether the Joint Director, Health Services, Kokrajhar has received the family status report of the petitioner from the Circle Officer, Dotma Revenue Circle and if received, whether the case of the petitioner was sent to the District Level Committee for consideration of her case on compassionate ground.
On instruction, Mr. Bora, learned Standing Counsel for the BTC submits that the case of the petitioner was placed before the District Level Committee on 23.08.2018 and the case of the petitioner has been rejected.
The Minutes of the meeting of the District Level Committee held on 23.08.2018 is also produced before this Court. A copy of same be furnished to Mr. I. Ahmed, learned counsel assisting Mr. D. P. Chaliha, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner so that the petitioner, if so advised, can challenge such order.
In view of the consideration and rejection of the case of the petitioner, nothing survives in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition same stands closed.
A copy of the Minutes of the meeting of the District Level Committee held on 23.08.2018 is kept on record and marked as document “X”.
