Heard Shri PK Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner, who has filed this writ petition for release of his final GPF and NRA.

Also heard Shri PN Sarma, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 1, 2 and 3 as well as Shri R Borpujari, learned Standing Counsel, Finance Department for the respondent no.5. Shri B Chakraborty, learned Standing Counsel, Accountant General is also present.

It is stated that the petitioner had retired as a Grade-IV employee on 30.09.2017 from the Rahmatganj Senior Madrassa which is presently Rahmatganj High School in the district of Dhubri.

This matter was considered on 28.02.2024 when the learned counsel for the respondents, including Shri B Chakraborty, learned Standing Counsel were directed to obtain the instructions.

Shri Chakraborty, learned Standing Counsel has submitted that vide an order

dated 03.04.2024, the amount in question has been released along with the interest and the same has been communicated to the concerned Head Master of the School. He has also placed on record a copy of the written instructions dated 26.04.2024.

Copies of the aforesaid order and communication are also shown to Shri Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner. He, however, submits that his client has not informed anything in this regard.

Be that as it may, in view of the aforesaid development and also the specific written instruction and the communication being placed before this Court, this Court is of the opinion that there is no further requirement to proceed with this petition as the grievances of the petitioner appear to have redressed.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.

The amount in question is now required to be disbursed by the respondent

receipt of a certified copy of this order.
