Mr. B. P. Borah, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that in view of the stand taken by the respondents in the affidavit, the petitioner would not like to proceed with the instant writ petition. He however, submits that he may be given the liberty to submit a representation before the concerned District Commissioner if the building of the petitioner which was demolished was standing on Dag No. 297 and thereupon claim compensation.
