This Interlocutory Application is filed on behalf of the applicant/contempt petitioner with a prayer to substitute “Shri Ajay Tiwari, IAS, the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam, Mines and Minerals Department (Additional Charge), Dispur, Guwahati” in place of the respondent No.1, “Shri Laxmanan S, IAS, the Secretary to the Government of Assam, Mines and Minerals Department, Dispur, Guwahati”, in Cont. Case (C) No.1/2023.
It has been submitted that since Shri Laxmanan S, IAS has already been transferred and in his place, Shri Ajay Tiwari, IAS is posted as the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam, Mines and Minerals Department (Additional Charge), Dispur, Guwahati. Therefore, it is prayed that Shri Ajay Tiwari, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam, Mines and Minerals Department (Additional Charge), Dispur, Guwahati, may be substituted as respondent No.1.
Learned counsel appearing for the respondents have no objection if the present application is allowed.
In such circumstances, the present application is allowed.
