Mr. G. Pegu, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that the instant writ petition has become infructuous in as much as the monthly salary for the period from July 2009 to January, 2010 amounting to Rs.2,30,000/- and 60% arrear of the 6th CPC amounting to Rs.1,55,557/- has already been paid. In that regard he has submitted an instruction issued by the Deputy Chief Law Officer dated 12.09.2016 which is kept on record and marked with the letter “X”.
