Heard Mr. U. K. Nair, learned senior counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr. S. N. Sarma, learned counsel for the respondent. Mr. S. N. Sarma has submitted a letter dated 05.03.2022 issued by Oil India Limited, which is to the effect that the transfer of the petitioner on deputation to Directorate General of Hydrocarbons, Noida has been set aside.

He submits that the said letter dated 05.03.2022 has not cancelled the petitioner’s promotion to Grade-‘I’ Executive Director.
As the petitioner’s counsel submits that dues of the petitioner from 01.01.2022 has not been given to the petitioner till date. the respondent authorities are directed to release the said amount to the petitioner at the earliest. The letter dated 05.03.2022 is made a part of the record and marked as Annexure ‘X’.
The writ petition having become infructuous, is accordingly closed.
