Heard Ms. K.A. Pujari, learned counsel for the petitioner, who submits that the petitioner has been promoted to the post of Assessment Officer, East Zone, which is equivalent to the post of Licence Officer in the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) and accordingly the petition has become infructuous.
Mr. S. Bora, learned counsel appears for all the respondents.
In view of the submission made by Ms. K.A. Pujari and on perusing the order dated 23.08.2022, it is seen that the petitioner has been promoted to the post of Assessment Officer, East Zone.
In view of the above, the writ petition is closed as infructuous.
The order dated 23.08.2022 is made a part of the record and marked as Annexure-X.
