subjecting her to both physical and mental cruelty under the influence of liquor, on each and every day and night. Though efforts were being made to resolve the disputes, the same failed to yield any result and being unable to bear the same, she lodged the F.I.R. on 05.06.2019. Upon the said F.I.R., the Officer-In-Charge, Lazu Police Station, registered Lazu P.S. Case No. 04/2019, under Sections 324/498A of the Indian Penal Code, and endorses S.I. S. Namshoom to investigate the same. Accordingly, the I.O. investigated the same and on completion of investigation, he laid Charge-Sheet, being Charge-Sheet No. 03/2019, under Sections 324/498A of the Indian Penal Code, against the petitioner No. 1 before the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khonsa. While the case is pending for consideration of charges, both the parties have resolved their disputes and entered into a deed of agreement and based upon the same, they approached this Court, jointly, for quashing the F.I.R. and the ChargeSheet of Lazu P.S. Case No. 04/2019, registered under Sections 324/498A of the Indian Penal Code, and the proceeding of GR Case No. 46/2019, pending before the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Khonsa.”
