Heard Ms. N Begum, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. SMT Chistie, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the sole respondent.

The instant contempt application has been filed alleging willful violation of the order dated 13.09.2019 passed in WP(C) No.5859/2015 whereby this Court directed that the petitioner may be granted regular pay scale attached to the post of Graduate Teacher and be given similar benefits as granted to the petitioners in WP(C) No.233/2017.

Mr. S.M.T. Chistie, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the sole respondent has placed on record a notification dated 26.02.2021, whereby, the Government of Assam was pleased to notify and allow the benefits of regular time scale of pay as per the ROP Rules and 264 graduate teachers who were appointed in fixed pay during 2021 and working in different provincialised High Schools/Higher Secondary Schools of Nagaon district by arriving at the appropriate pay notionally with effect from the date of their joining is shown against their name or from any other subsequent date which is later. The name of the petitioner is seen at serial No.77.

Consequently, the judgment and order dated 13.09.2019 passed in WP(C) No.5859/2015 has been duly complied with.

Accordingly, the instant contempt petition stands closed.
