Heard Shri A.F.N.U. Mollah, learned counsel for the petitioner whereas Ms. N. Bordoloi, learned counsel has appeared for both the respondents. The complaint is non-compliance of an order dated 10.08.2021 passed in WP(C)/7254/2019 whereby

ex gratia payment was directed to be considered and paid.
Ms. Bordoloi, the learned counsel has however submitted that during the pendency of this contempt case, the order has been complied with and in this connection she has placed before this Court a communication dated 26.08.2022 from which it appears that after sanction of the amount, the same has been released to the DDO vide online budget number 05-DBR/GAD/001-2022-23(1)43. Though Shri Mollah, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is not aware regarding the actual release, in view of the submissions made and the written instructions dated 26.08.2022, this Court is of the opinion that the order of this Court has been complied with and accordingly the contempt case stands closed.
A copy of the written instructions dated 26.08.2022 is made part of the records.
