The connected contempt application, Cont.Cas[C] no. 712/2019 has been filed alleging non-compliance of the direction made in the order dated 27.08.2018 passed in the writ petition, W.P.[C] no. 5757/2018. In the connected contempt application, Cont.Cas[C] no. 712/2019, the then incumbent holding the post of Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup [M] was made the sole respondent. This application has been preferred by the applicant seeking impleadment of the present incumbent holding the post of Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup [M] as the earlier incumbent holding the post of Deputy Commissioner i.e. the sole respondent was transferred from the said post in the meantime.

Ms. Bhattacharjee, learned counsel for the sole respondent has also endorsed the said submission.

In view of the averments made in this application and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, this application seeking impleadment of “Sri Pallav Gopal Jha, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup [M], Guwahati, PIN – 781001” is allowed.

The office to cause necessary correction in the cause-title in the connected application, Cont.Cas[C] no. 712/2019 by incorporating the details of the newly impleaded respondent.
