This I.A. has been filed to substitute the legal heirs of the writ petitioner

Pradip Das, who had expired on 20.02.2020, by adding his legal heirs viz., Smti. Ilu Das (wife) and Miss. Palki Pradip Kashyap (daughter) to the writ petitioner.

appearing for the respondent No.1 as well as Mr. S. Baruah, learned Govt. Advocate, Assam, appearing for the respondent Nos.2, 3 and 4, submit that they would not have any objection if the prayer is allowed.

Mr. B. D. Deka, learned counsel for the applicants, submits that there is no other surviving legal heir of the deceased writ petitioner.

Having regard to the statements made in the I.A. and after hearing the submissions of the learned counsel for the parties, the prayer for substitution

stands allowed. Both the applicants shall stand substituted in place of the deceased writ petitioner.
