Heard Ms. A. Mesen, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. G. Sharma, learned Special Counsel, FT.

The present application has been filed for correcting certain typographical mistakes, which had crept in the petition as well as in the order dated 29.04.2022 passed by this Court in the connected WP(C) No.2849/2022.

It has been submitted that the applicant has been in detention since 24.10.2021. However, the same has been inadvertently typed as 12.11.2021 in the petition and also when this Court passed the order dated 29.04.2022 granting bail to the applicant for which the applicant is not being released on bail.

Since the correction sought for is not objected, we allow this application by correcting the date of detention of the applicant as 24.10.2021.

The applicant is permitted to make necessary correction in the writ petition by hand.

Accordingly, in the order dated 29.04.2022 passed in WP(C) No.2849/2022, the date ’12.11.2021’ stands replaced by ’24.10.2021’ as the date when the applicant has been in jail.

With the above modification, the present IA is allowed.

A copy of this order be furnished to Superintendent of Police (Border), Darrang and Superintendent of Central Jail, Tezpur for doing the needful.
