Heard Ms. M. L. Gope, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. S. Sarma, learned Standing Counsel, Income Tax for the respondent nos. 2 to 6.
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners challenging the reassessment proceeding initiated against the petitioner company by the Income Tax Department under Sections 147/148 of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
Learned counsel for the petitioners has made a statement before this Court that during the pendency of the writ petition, since there is no interim order passed in the writ proceeding protecting the interest of the petitioners, reassessment was done

against which an appeal was filed by the assessee/writ petitioners, wherein an order has been passed in favor of the assessee/writ petitioners.
In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks to withdraw this petition.
This writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
