None appears for the petitioner on call today. On 03.12.2018, when the matter was called, none appeared on that day. Thereafter, when the matter was again listed and called for on 12.02.2020, on that day also none represented the petitioner.
The petitioner by way of this writ petition raises a grievance that though she was at the Sl. No. 1 of selected list of Anganwadi Worker for Bodubi Chanog, the person placed at Sl No. 2 i.e. respondent No. 5 was appointed. None appears for the respondent No. 5 also. One affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent No. 3 i.e. Child Development Project Officer, Telahi ICDS Project, Lakhimpur under whose jurisdiction the concerned Anganwadi Centre falls. By way of that affidavit, the respondent took a stand that though the petitioner was selected as the No. 1 candidate but since her residence is not within the jurisdiction of the concerned Anganwadi Centre, therefore, she was not

appointed against that post.
Be that as it may, we are not entering into the merit of the case. Since the petitioner has defaulted in appearing before this court on last three occasions. Therefore, the matter is dismissed for non prosecution.
