In the present writ petition, the petitioner has projected a case that he was serving in Soil Conservation Demonstrator (Sr.) and challenged the order dated 2.8.2011(Annexure 11) whereby the Director of Soil Conservation rejected the claim made by the petitioner for retrospective promotion w.e.f. 1.1.2000. When the writ petition was filed the petitioner was declared to be aged about 52 years. By now the petitioner had reached 61 years of age.
Be that as it may, none appeared for the petitioner on call. From the aforesaid facts it seems that the petitioner might not be interested in pursuing this writ petition.
Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution.
