Heard Mr. IH Saikia, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. JK Goswami, learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos. 1 and 3 as well as Mr. B Gogoi, learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 2.
The petitioner’s grievance is that though he is working as a Copyist on adhoc basis in the office of the Member, Foreigner’s Tribunal II, Barpeta at a fixed pay of Rs. 9,000/- per month, other Copyists working on adhoc basis in the other Foreigner’s Tribunal are being given the minimum scale of pay. He accordingly prays that he should also be given the minimum scale of pay as is being provided to other Copyists, who are working on adhoc basis.
Mr. Saikia, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in view of the letter dated 21.06.2019 issued by the Secretary, Government of Assam, Political (B) Department, he would like to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to file afresh.
Prayer is allowed.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file afresh.
