Heard Shri J.P. More, learned counsel for the applicant, namely, Sri Debananda Paul, who has filed this bail application under Section 439 of the CrPC praying for bail in connection with NCB Crime No.03/2021, under Section 8 (c) to be read with 20 (b) (ii) (C) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
Ms. P. Das, learned counsel appearing on instructions of Shri S. C. Kayal, learned standing counsel, NCB submits that the final complaint has been filed within the stipulated 180 days.
In view of the aforesaid development the petitioner is directed to approach the trial Court below with an application for bail and in the event such application is filed the learned Trial Court shall consider the same in accordance with law.
The present petition accordingly stands disposed of.
