Heard Mr. B. Baruah, learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner. Also heard Ms. D. D. Barman, learned Govt. Advocate, Assam and Mr. R. Dhar, learned standing counsel for the WPT and BC appearing on behalf of official respondents.
It is submitted at the Bar that the issue raised in this writ petition is covered by the earlier decision of this Court rendered in connection with WP (C) 647/2020, which was relied upon in the order dated 26.11.2020 passed in WP (C) No. 4871/2020 and therefore, this writ petition be also disposed of in terms of the order dated 26.11.2020 passed by this Court.
Taking note of the submission made at the Bar, this writ petition is hereby disposed of by granting liberty to the writ petitioner to avail appellate remedy, if so advise, if the same is otherwise permissible under the law.
