Sri Homeswar Baishya, appellant/claimant is personally present along with Mr. M. Talukdar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant.
Mr. Nihar Ranjan Bala, Regional Manager, United India Insurance Company Limited, representing the respondent No.3 /Insurance Company along with other officials from the Insurance Company, are present.
Both the parties have agreed to settle the matter today and the matter is settled at a sum of Rs.60,000/- (Rupees Sixty Thousands only. The aforesaid settlement amount shall be payable within a period of 6(six) weeks from today by the Insurance Company. Insurance Company shall deposit the said amount before the learned MACT-II, Kamrup (M), Guwahati. Thereafter, claimant will be entitled to withdraw the amount, on due identification.
Hence, the matter is settled today.
The appeal stands disposed of.
Let the LCR be returned forthwith.
