By filing an affidavit the sole respondent/ contemnor on 01.11.2019 placed before the Court that pursuant to the order dated 20.12.2018 passed in WP(C) NO. 8767/2018 and following the directions passed therein, the concerned Executive Engineer, Kokrajhar, Water

Resources Division, Kokrajhar under Office Order No. KWFD/PF/246/1318 dated 22.08.2019 passed the necessary order in compliance with the order dated 20.12.2018 passed in WP(C) No. 8767/2018. A copy of which has been annexed as Annexure-IV to the said affidavit.
It is also seen that the copy of the said affidavit of the sole respondent/ contemnor has been served to the counsel for the petitioner on 01.11.2019 itself.
In view of the above, as the sole respondent/ contemnor has complied with the order 20.12.2018 passed in WP(C) NO. 8767/2018, nothing survives to adjudicate further in this matter.
Accordingly, this contempt petition being infructuous stands closed.
Notice of contempt issued earlier on 29.07.2019 on the respondent/ contemnor is hereby recalled.
