Heard Mr. T. J. Mahanta, learned Senior counsel assisted by Mr. P.P. Dutta, learned counsel for the applicant APSC. Also heard Mr. P. Mahanta, learned counsel for the petitioners in WP(C) Nos. 3228, 3334, 3341, 3344, 3346, 3348, 3364, 3368 & 3377 of 2019 and Mr. D. Goswami, learned counsel for the petitioner in WP(C) No. 3319/2019 as well as Mr. R. B. Gohain, learned counsel for the petitioners in WP(C) Nos. 3595/2019 and 3696/2019.

By this application, the applicant APSC has prayed for correction of the figure “4076” that appeared in the common orders dated 23.10.2019 and 09.10.2020 passed in WP(C) No. 3228/2019 and the other connected cases.
It is submitted by Mr. Mahanta, learned Senior counsel representing the applicant APSC that after due verification of the records, it is found that altogether 3218 candidates appeared in the Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, 2018 pursuant to the APSC’s advertisement dated 17.05.2018 and not “4076” candidates as reflected in the para 5 of the common order dated 23.10.2019 as well as in para 28 of the common order dated 09.10.2020 passed in WP(C) No. 3228/2019 and the other connection writ petitions, noted above.
Hence, this application for correction of the said figure of “4076” Nos. of candidates to be substituted by “3218” Nos. of candidates as reflected in those two common orders dated 23.10.2019 and 09.10.2020.
Learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioners have no objections in correcting the said figure of “4076” to be substituted by “3218” as it is verified from the records.
After hearing the learned counsels for the parties and considering the entire aspects of the matter, it is directed that wherever the figure “4076” appeared in the common orders dated 23.10.2019 and 09.10.2020 passed in WP(C) No. 3228/2019 and the other connected matters, the same shall be read as “3218”.
This order shall be read together with the common orders dated 23.10.2019 and 09.10.2020 which shall form a part of those common orders passed in WP(C) No. 3228/2019 and the other connected matters.
With the above observation and direction, this I.A.(C) stands allowed to the extent above.
