ORDER

Heard Mr. A. Borah, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A. Roy, learned counsel for Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Government of Assam.
In this writ petition, petitioner has assailed legality and correctness of the notification dated 26.06.2018 issued by the Secretary to the Government of Assam, Panchayat and Rural Development Department placing the petitioner under suspension in view of his arrest on 24.05.2018 in connection with a criminal case and being in detention for more than 48 hours.
Petitioner is a Junior Engineer in the Bongaon Development Block, Kamrup.
Today when the matter is called upon, learned counsel for the parties have apprised the Court that petitioner has been reinstated in service.
In that view of the matter, no live issue survives for adjudication in this case.
Consequently, writ petition is closed.
