Heard Mr. B Chetri, learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner and Mrs. J Dutta, learned counsel for the opposite party No. 1.
By this application, the applicant/petitioner has prayed for correction of the typographical mistake that occurred in the order dated 03.04.2018 passed in Contempt Case(C) No. 349/2017.
Mr. Chetri, learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner by placing the affidavit filed by the opposite party No. 1 in the connected Contempt Cas(C) No. 349/2017 has stated before the Court that it was only on 12.02.2018, the DLC, Kamrup(M), Guwahati for compassionate appointment considered the case of the petitioner recommending his name for Grade-III post. However, in the said order dated 03.04.2018 instead of 12.02.2018, it has been wrongly typed as 20.04.2017. Hence, this application for necessary correction.

Perused the affidavit of the opposite party No. 1 filed in the connected Contempt Cas(C) No.349/2017 and it is seen that it is only on 12.02.2018, the DLC, Kamrup(M), Guwahati considered the case of the petitioner.
Accordingly, it is directed that in the order dated 03.04.2018 passed in Contempt Cas(C) No. 349/2018, wherever the date ‘20.04.2017’ occurs, the same shall be read as ‘order dated 12.02.2018’. Accordingly, this I.A. stands allowed.
This order may be read together with the order dated 03.04.2018 passed in Contempt Cas(C) No. 349/2017.
