This is an application, filed under Section 438 of the Crl.P.C. seeking pre-arrest bail of the accused-petitioner, namely, Birenjeet Das, in connection with Hailakandi P.S. Case No. 592/2018 registered under Sections 120(B)/ 420/ 468/352/294/506/34 IPC.
Heard Mr. BM Choudhury, learned counsel for the accused petitioner as well as Mr. NJ Dutta, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam.
The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that in the instant case Final

Report, vide F.R. No. 140/2018 dated 28.8.2018, has been laid.
That being so, there is no case pending against the accused petitioner as of now and, therefore, this pre-arrest bail application has become infructuous.
Accordingly, disposed of being infructuous.
