This case is transferred from DRT-II, Chennai on bifurcation of jurisdiction pursuant to Gazette Notification of Ministry of Finance vide No.S.O.4717 (E) dated 04.10.2022. This OA is re-numbered as TA No.05/2023 on the file of DRT-III, Chennai

This OA is filed by the applicant bank for recovery of a sum of Rs.9,93,85,651.20p together with future interest and costs.

A memo is filed by applicant bank vide SR No.1341/23 dated 01.02.2023 stating therein that during pendency of the above OA, defendants had settled the loan account which was reported before DRT-II, Chennai and the same was recorded vide proceedings dated 27.04.2022 and return of documents was also ordered on 22.07.2022. In the meanwhile, due to bifurcation of jurisdiction, documents could not be taken return from DRT-II, Chennai and the case was transferred to this Tribunal. Hence applicant bank prayed for return of original documents filed along with proof affidavit.

Copy of memo is served to Ld. Counsel for defendants vide endorsement dated 31.01.2023.
