THE APPELLATE TRIBUNAL :
Affidavit of service by way of newspaper publication filed by the appellant is taken on record.
It appears, notice was published in the newspapers, but despite that none appeared on behalf of the State Bank of India respondent. It shows slackness on the part of the bank that despite service of the notice they are not appearing.
Let a letter be issued by the Registry to the General Manager, State Bank of India, Visakhapatnam, indicating that despite service by way of paper publication none appeared on behalf of the bank in the matter which shows the negligent attitude of the bank officers. Registry will mention in the letter that if on the next date fixed for hearing bank is not represented necessary order will be passed in accordance with law.
Learned counsel for the appellant prays for and is granted two weeks’ time to file a supplementary affidavit.
