This Tribunal had vide order dated 01.05.2023 directed the Appellants to deposit a sum of ₹ 25,00,000/- as pre-deposit on or before 26.06.2023. The Appellants could manage to deposit only ₹ 10,00,000/-towards the said deposit and have filed an application for an extension of time.

The Appellants had sought an extension on the basis that their brother and his son committed suicide on 07.06.2023 and because of the bereavement in the family, the Appellants were not in a position to pay the entire amount.

The Ld. Counsel appearing for the Respondent Bank has vehemently opposed the application. Considering the entire facts and circumstances in this case, I find that the Appellants have made an earnest attempt to make the pre-deposit and because of some
