By virtue of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) the petitioner seeks the following reliefs:

“1) Issue a writ of mandamus directing Respondent No.3 & 4 (SHO PS Jagatpuri and DCP Shahdara) to take immediate action on the written complaints dated 05.04.2025, 25.06.2025 lodged by the Petitioner and pass a reasoned action taken report;

2) Direct Respondent No. 4 (DCP Shahdara) to personally supervise the matter and ensure registration of FIR against accused persons under appropriate provisions of law;

3) Direct the police authorities to provide immediate protection to the Petitioner and her minor children;

¶15

4) Direct preparation of proper memo of parties and investigation against all persons named in the complaints of

At the outset, without adverting to the merits, Mr. Abhijeet Kumar, Advocate appearing for the State, as per instructions received from the IO, submits that the complaints have already been closed by the Police authorities by virtue of the “ Enquiry Action Taken Report ” dated 21.01.2026. A copy whereof has been handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

As such, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to take necessary action in accordance with law.

As such, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
