By way of the present writ petitions, the petitioners seek the following reliefs:

“i. the Ld. CJM, New Delhi, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi to expediate the trial, without any further delay in Cr. Case No. 6548/2023, titled as “State vs Sachin Mann @ Monu in F.I.R. No. 073/2023, registered at P.S. Special Cell u/s 420/467/212/468/387/ 471/120B of IPC, 12 of Passport Act & 25 of Arms Act;

ii. the Ld. CJM, New Delhi, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi to pass

Issue notice. The learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of the State.

The Court notes that two accused persons in the present case are in judicial custody since the registration of the FIR in the year 2023. It is also noted that the charges have not been framed yet.

The learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the proceedings, considering the period of incarceration and the fact that charges have not yet been framed.

With these directions, writ petition stands disposed of.
