The petition is for the following reliefs:

“ It is, therefore, most humbly prayed that the FIR No.0574/2021 U/s 498A/34 IPC, P.S. Prem Nagar and the proceedings thereof may kindly be quashed so far as the Petitioner is concerned, in the interest of justice .”

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has raised various objections and has tried to emphasis that respondent no.2 while concealing earlier marriage has lodged the FIR. It is thus contended that no offence per se under Section 498/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC) is made out.
