This is a petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:

“a. ISSUE a writ, order, or direction to call for the records and QUASH / SET ASIDE the Final Result Notification No. 3065/Rectt/IG(HQ)FHQ/Ct(Sports)-25(2nd ph)/2025/19780 dated 18.12.2025 issued by Respondent No. 2, specifically and limited to the extent of the illegal selection of Respondent No. 5 (Chirag, Roll No. 2025040839) in the Wushu 52/56/60 Kg category; b. ISSUE a writ, order, or direction commanding the Respondents No. 1 to 3 to forthwith reconsider the candidature of the Petitioner, Mr. Puneet Lamba (Roll No. 2025040848), strictly on the basis of his superior sporting credentials (National Games Bronze Medal & Khelo India Certificate) in strict accordance with Para 4(ii) of their own published criteria;

c. ISSUE a writ, order, or direction commanding the Respondents No. 1 to 3

to immediately APPOINT and INCLUDE the Petitioner’s name in the final merit list for the Constable (GD) Sports Quota Wushu 60 Kg category, with all consequential benefits including seniority and back wages from the date his batchmates/inferior candidates were appointed;

ISSUE an appropriate writ, order, or direction to Respondent Nos. 1 and 2, or the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) / Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), to institute a high-level, time-bound, and court monitored independent investigation into the massive recruitment scam, the "jobs-for-cash" extortion demands by Respondent No. 4, the manipulation of the merit list, and the subsequent armed intimidation by Respondent No. 6 operating as a conduit for the BSF officials;”

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent, on advance notice, submits that the present petition will be treated as a Representation and will be decided under due intimation to the petitioner.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition.

The present petition is accordingly disposed of, directing the respondents to treat the present petition as a Representation and decide the same after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today.
