The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-

“a) Issue a Writ, Order, or Direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing and setting aside the Show Cause Notice dated 22.12.2025 (received on 26.12.2025) issued by the Respondent Bank.”

Learned Counsel for respondent raised an objection to the maintainability of the writ petition on the ground that the same is premature, as only a show cause notice dated 22^nd December, 2025 has been issued. 7. Ld. Counsel for the Petitioner has submitted that response to the show cause notice has already been filed by the petitioner.

Without going into the merits of the case or the show cause notice, it is open to respondent to take an appropriate decision after considering the response of the petitioner and, if deemed necessary, after granting a personal hearing to the petitioner or his authorised representative. Whenever the decision is taken, the same shall not be given effect to for a period of two weeks thereafter, so as to enable the petitioner to avail appropriate legal remedies, in accordance with law.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and all rights and contentions of the respective parties are left open.
