The matters bearing CRL.M.C. Nos. 7803/2025 and 7810/2025 are taken up today, as 25.11.2025 was declared as Holiday on the occasion of 350^th anniversary of ‘Guru Teg Bahadur’s Martyrdom Day’.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that connected Petition bearing CRL.M.C. No. 7859/2025 is listed for 24.03.2026, in respect of which, Parties have also arrived at settlement.

Registry is directed to list the file of that case today, i.e. 26.11.2025.

Petitions under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanghita, 2023, seeking quashing of FIR No. 100/2010 registered under Sections 498A/406 IPC and FIRs No. 0393/2013 and 0965/2014, both registered under Sections 354A/354D/509/34 IPC at P. S. Neb Sarai and also all the proceedings emanating therefrom in terms of Settlement dated18.10.2020 and subsequent Mediated Settlement dated 11.08.2025. 5. The parties are present in person and are identified by the Investigating Officer.

It is submitted that there was certain matrimonial dispute, which has been amicably settled in terms of the two Settlement Deeds.

The Complainant is present in person and endorses the terms of Settlement and has no objection to the quashing of all the three FIRs. 8. FIR No. 100/2010 pertains to Sections 498A/406 IPC, the other two FIRs No. 0393/2013 and 0965/2014 pertains to Sections 354A/354D/506/509/34 IPC against the father-in-law and husband, emanating from matrimonial dispute between the Petitioner No. 1 and Respondent No. 2.

The parties have endorsed the amicable settlement and accepted the terms thereof voluntarily and they submit that the said Settlement has been arrived at between the parties, without any pressure and coercion and that they shall remain bound by the terms of the settlement.

The parties have submitted that all the disputes have been amicably settled vide Settlement dated18.10.2020 and subsequent Mediated Settlement dated 11.08.2025 and thus, no fruitful purpose will be served in continuing with the FIR.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will, no useful purpose will be served in continuing with the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. 12. Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question.

Accordingly, considering the totality of circumstances and the nature of the dispute, FIR No. 100/2010 registered under Sections 498A/406 IPC, the other two FIRs No. 0393/2013 and 0965/2014 registered under Sections 354A/354D/506/509/34 IPC at P.S. Neb Sarai and all the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

The Petitions alongwith pending Applications, stand disposed of.

¶26

The next date of hearing, i.e. 24.03.2026 in CRL.M.C. 7859/2025, stands cancelled.
