The present petition under Section 528 of the BNSS read with Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. seeks quashing of FIR No. 24/2012, under Sections 341/323/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered as P.S. Yamuna Bank Metro, Delhi and all the other consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, including the chargesheet pending before the Court of Ms.

It is pointed out that vide order dated 14.07.2025, the offences punishable under Sections 323/341/34 of the IPC stands compounded before the learned Trial Court. Copy of the said order has been handed up in Court today and the same is taken on record. The aforesaid order records the statement made by respondent Nos. 2 and 3 before the learned Trial Court with regard to their settlement including the offence punishable under Section 506 (II) of the IPC.

Petitioner Nos.2, 3, 4 are present before the Court and petitioner No.1 and respondents no.2/complainant and respondent no.3 have appeared through video conferencing and have been duly identified by their respective counsels, as well as the Investigating Officer, W/S.I. Vinod Kapoor, PS Delhi Cantt.

The Complainant/Respondent No.2 and respondent no. 3 state that the matter has been settled with the petitioners and they have no objection if the FIR is quashed against the petitioners.

In view of the fact that offences punishable under Section 323/341/34 of the IPC has since been compounded under Section 320 of the Cr.P.C. between the parties before the learned Trial Court and in view of the aforesaid circumstances, and that fact that the parties have put a quietus to the dispute, no useful purpose will be served in continuing with the present FIR No. 24/2012, under Sections 341/323/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered as P.S. Yamuna Bank Metro, Delhi and the consequent chargesheet pending against the petitioners under Section 506 (II) of the IPC.

In the interest of justice, the petition is allowed, and the FIR No.
