Learned Senior counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is the original owner of plot bearing No. Z-2, Sainik Farms, PO IGNOU, New Delhi-110068 and is in uninterrupted peaceful possession of the same. He further submits that petitioner obtained loans from one Deepak Kumar Singhal @ Pinky during the period 2015-2022. It is submitted that the said loan amounts have been repaid with interest. Deepak Kumar Singhal @ Pinky forced the petitioner into mortgaging the property as security for the loans and forced the petitioner to sign certain blank cheques and other documents including the agreement to sell under false pretences. Despite the repayment of loans with interest, he has refused to return the property documents and is threatening the petitioner for additional payments.

It is further submitted that Deepak Kumar Singhal @ Pinky and his henchmen forcibly entered the petitioner’s property and threatened the petitioner for additional payments.

The learned counsel submits that petitioner made two complaints to the police i.e. on 28.03.2025 and 01.04.2025 but no action was taken.

The Court has considered the submissions of the petitioner. Since Deepak Kumar Singhal @ Pinky is not present before the Court, the Court refrains from making any comments on the allegations made in the petition. However, considering the fact that petitioner has already made two complaints to the Police, narrating the incident, it is considered appropriate to issue following directions:-

a. The SHO of the concerned Police Station- Neb Sarai shall provide adequate protection to the petitioner and Beat Constable of the area shall be sensitized in this behalf.

b. The phone numbers of the concerned Police Station as well as of the Beat Constable shall also be provided to the petitioner in order to enable him to contact the officers in the event of any threat or apprehension.

c. Action, if any, on the complaints made by the petitioner be taken in accordance with law.
