The present application has been filed seeking withdrawal of present contempt petition.

Mr. V.N. Jha, learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submits that a settlement has been arrived at between petitioner and respondents and terms thereof have been reduced in writing in the form of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dated 10.07.2025.

He submits that in terms of the said MoU, respondents shall be paying full and final settlement amount of Rs.6,50,000/- to petitioner.

He submits that an amount of Rs.50,000 has already been received by the petitioner. A further amount of Rs.3,00,000/- by way of Demand Draft

The petitioner acknowledges having received Rs.3,50,000/- out of the total settlement amount of Rs.6,50,000/-. The balance settlement amount is payable at the time of withdrawal of writ petition by the petitioner being W.P. (C) 5911/2016.

In view of the above, the application is allowed. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

The date already fixed i.e. 09.09.2025 stands cancelled.
