Balram Singh (President, Nav Jagriti CGHS Ltd.), filed under Section 2(b) with Sections 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for non-compliance of the order dated 16.07.2024 passed by the Predecessor Bench in CM Appl.39645/2024 in W.P.(C) No.14673/2021, whereby the Society, through its President, was directed to decide the petitioner's application dated 15.06.2024 seeking substitution in place of his deceased wife (Urmila @ Suman) and issuance of the requisite Share Certificate, in accordance with law within six weeks. Counsel informed the Court on 09.01.2025 that a reply received on 08.01.2025 intimated the Society's order dated 13.12.2024 deciding the application in terms of the earlier directions; finding nothing left for further adjudication, the Court disposed of the petition along with pending applications (order dated 09.01.2025).

The present contempt petition under Section 2(b) read with Sections 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 has been preferred by the petitioner for non-compliance of the order dated 16^th July, 2024 passed by the Predecessor Bench of this Court in CM Appl.39645/2024 in W.P.(C) No.14673/2021 wherein the respondent-Nav Jagriti CGHS Ltd., through its President was directed to decide the application dated 15^th June, 2024 filed by the petitioner seeking his substitution in place of his deceased wife (Urmila @ Suman) and issuance of requisite Share Certificate in his favour, in accordance with law, within six weeks.

Respondent herein is the President of the Nav Jagriti CGHS Ltd.

Learned counsel for the petitioner informs this Court that yesterday, i.e. on 8^th January, 2025, he received a reply from the respondent-Society,
