The present petition under Sections 11/12 of the Contempt of Courts Act seeks following prayers:-

“a) To initiate contempt of Court proceeding against or Summon the respondents/ contemnor before this Hon’ble Court and punish them as per law for the willful violation of the order dated 22.08.2025 passed by this Hon’ble Court

b) for initiating contempt proceedings against the contemners for violation of the order dt. 22.08.2025 and that the respondents no. 1 to 4 for willfully and deliberately disobeying of aforesaid order and to take necessary legal action against the respondent no 1 & 4 and direct the respondents immediately direct the respondents to disconnect the electricity meters bearing ca no.101860098 on address sheela devi, w/o late kartar singh, 170 f/f block-g, harkesh nagar, near z- 63, okhla phase-2, new delhi-110020 and ca no. 101852722, ov address sheela devi, w/o late kartar singh, 170, g/f, harkesh nagar block, new delhi-110020 which is fraudly already installed by respondent no. 1 which can be caused human casulty during rainy season, due to faulty, defective and dangerous electricity wires entire building is

exposed to earthin problem and dangerous to human lives to those living in it and passer by as caused electric shock to many dogs, cows etc. c) Pass any other and further orders as this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case; in the favor of the petitioner and in the interest of Justice.”

Vide order dated 22.08.2025 learned Single Judge while disposing of the W.P.(C) 12786/2025 passed the following directions:-

“11. This Court further takes note of the submission made by learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 1-BSES Rajdhani Power Limited, that action for disconnection of the electricity shall be undertaken, as and when demolition action is taken by the MCD in the property in question.

Accordingly, it is directed that respondent no. 2-MCD shall take time bound action against the unauthorized construction in the property in question.

The respondent no. 3-SHO, Police Station-Okhla Industrial Area, is directed to ensure that requisite police assistance is provided to the MCD as and when the same is requisitioned by the MCD, for the purpose of taking action against the unauthorized construction in the property in question.

This Court further directs that requisite action shall also be taken by respondent no. 1, at the time when demolition action is taken by the MCD.

For this purpose, respondent no. 2 is directed to inform the respondent no. 1, as and when demolition is planned against the property in question.”

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 2/MCD, on advance notice, submits that the property was demolished on 04.11.2025. The said fact is confirmed by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. 5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 3/SHO, PS Okhla Industrial Area, also submits that the demolition action had taken place on 04.11.2025.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 1/BSES submits that necessary action on behalf of the latter, in terms of the aforesaid order,

shall be carried out forthwith . Let the same be done within one week. 7. In view of the aforesaid statement, the present petition is disposed of, with liberty to the petitioner to revive the present petition in case of noncompliance.

Needless to state that on a request being made from the concerned Officer of respondent no. 1, respondent no. 3 shall provide assistance in accordance with law.
