The main grievance of the petitioner is that the appeal is pending before the NCDRC for the last about 9 years but is not getting disposed of.

It is submitted that the next date listed before the NCDRC is 18.02.2025 to hear and dispose of the appeal expeditiously preferably within a period of two months.

Learned counsel has also drawn the attention of this Court to the previous order dated 14.11.2019 passed in CM(M) No. 1474/2019 whereby this Court had requested the NCDRC to make an effort to hear the matter finally on 28.01.2020. Despite the said order the appeal has not been disposed of.
