the petitioners have now been allowed to apply for the post of Khalasi/Helper in the Indian Railways, subject to the outcome of the O.A.(s), though the result of the petitioners has been directed to be kept in a sealed cover.

The O.A.(s) have now been directed to be listed before the learned Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, Delhi (hereinafter referred to as, ‘Tribunal’) on 21.08.2025.

Keeping in view the nature of the grievance raised in these petitions, we direct that the respondents must complete the pleadings by filing their replies to the O.A.(s) filed by the petitioners, within a period of three weeks from today, failing which, the opportunity of the respondents to file their counter-affidavits before the learned Tribunal shall stand closed.

The petitioners shall file their rejoinders along with their written submissions before the learned Tribunal, within a period of three weeks thereafter.

The respondents shall file their written submissions at least a week in advance of the next date of hearing of the O.A.(s) before the learned Tribunal.

The learned Tribunal is requested not to adjourn the matter on the next date of hearing and to make an endeavour to dispose of the aforementioned O.A.(s) preferably within a month of their aforesaid listing before it.

In the meantime, the respondents may also consider the contents of the present Writ Petition as a representation of the petitioners on the broader issues raised therein, notwithstanding the pendency of the
