This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 9 months on the ground that the documents were voluminous and the recording of evidence took some time.

In addition, it is also stated that the Authorised Representative of the petitioner met with an accident and was unable to attend proceedings.

Since Mr. Harshit Agarwal, learned counsel is appearing on behalf of the petitioner and undertakes to file his fresh Vakalatnama, the Vakalatnama of Chopra Law Offices stands withdrawn.
