This petition has been filed, under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal, which is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a Contract for the construction of Sagar bypass between km 351.000 to km 405.770 of National Highway 26 in the State of Madhya Pradesh, bearing contract package No. ADB-II/C9 in December, 2005.

The mandate of the arbitral tribunal was extended from time to time, lastly by order dated 30.11.2023 in OMP (MISC) (COMM) 578/2023.
